1. Who we are
Vietnam Fast Pass is the data controller for personal information collected through vietnamfastpass.com and the booking flow. You can reach our data protection contact at [email protected].
2. What we collect
When you make a booking we collect: full name as on your passport, email address, WhatsApp number, arrival airport, flight number, arrival date and time, hotel or destination address, number of passengers and luggage, and any add-on selections (e.g. Mercedes, return transfer).
When you join the VIP Club or claim a discount we additionally store your account email, hashed authentication credentials, and a record of vouchers issued.
We also collect technical data automatically: IP address, browser user agent, language preference, and pages visited — used solely for analytics and fraud prevention.
3. How we use it
- To process your booking and deliver the fast-track service at the airport.
- To send you booking confirmations, arrival reminders, and post-arrival receipts.
- To respond to support requests on WhatsApp, email, and the contact form.
- To improve our website and service quality through aggregated analytics.
- To send marketing emails — only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click.
4. Who we share it with
- Airport ground partners — we share your name, flight, and passenger count with our licensed greeting and immigration partners at HAN, SGN, and DAD so they can pre-clear your fast-track slot.
- Payment processors — Stripe, PayOS, or MoMo process your card or e-wallet payment. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Email and messaging providers — Resend (email) and Twilio/WhatsApp Business (messaging) deliver your transactional communications.
- Government authorities — only where required by Vietnamese law.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertising networks.
5. How long we keep it
- Booking records: 5 years (Vietnamese tax and accounting law).
- Marketing email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- VIP Club account: until you request deletion.
- Analytics logs: 14 months in aggregated form.
6. Your rights
You can request at any time to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
Email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request" and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use minimal cookies: a session cookie for authentication, a language preference cookie, and an analytics cookie that does not track you across other sites. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.
8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms. Access to the booking database is restricted to authorised staff and is audited monthly.
9. International transfers
Our database is hosted in Singapore. If you book from outside Vietnam, your personal data is transferred there for processing under standard contractual clauses.
10. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our service or applicable law. Material changes are announced by email to active customers at least 14 days in advance.
